| Ever played the dot game? The dot game is when you make a bunch of random dots on a piece of paper and connect them and make a picture out of it. I spent my high-school years mastering this game. As of late it has re-entered my life. Molly and I decided that we wanted to play the dot game on these pumpkins. Turned out good. I suggest you all do this. Mine is the man is bent over, upon further review I decided it's a man mooning someone. Molly's is the alien holding a witch hat.

| Piper's book "Let the nations be Glad" was so tight. You should read it. You can borrow it if you want.
Life is good. Confused about it most of the time, but still good. Ramadan. Pray for Muslims. Pray that Muslims will stop being entertained with laws, customs, and seasons and turn to the risen, active, Lord Jesus whom we can follow. I guess we should pray that for Christians too. Pray for Dayne, he is overseas in a Muslim country during this fasting month. I remember the thickness and realness of Spiritual warfare during last years Ramadan. The best and worse of both worlds came out very intensely. I'm tired. Is napping prohibited at 8:30 am? Fall is great. Like I said, life is good.

It is better to have candor, and appear meek, and have true wisdom spoken into your life's situation, than to appear wise and have wise men blow inapplicable wind in your direction.
| "My religion consists of a humble admiration of the illimitable superior spirit who reveals himself in the slight details we are able to perceive with our frail and feeble mind."
Albert Einstein
Einstein had little or no worth for organized religion. Although he was a God fearing believer. Ever think it was do to the fact that he was the one who kinda unfolded the vast enormity and complexity of the creation of God and knew that it was just the very footstool on which he rest His foot. Charles Minser said " He must have looked at what the preachers said about God and felt they were blaspheming. He had just seen much more majesty than they had ever imagined." I also wonder if he thought that three hymns standing on the last verse once a week was unjust worship. I wonder how Einstein worshiped God after what he had discovered about the creation of the world.
All this brings great conviction to me. I want to learn how to worship God for who he really is. In my self-centeredness I often forget the enormity of God. I was thinking about this just before i decided to make a post of these thoughts and I had a vision in my imagination of how big God must be. I wish that I could paint a picture of it. To think that God is personal and chose to be personal even with me brings about great confusion.
Isaiah 40:25-26 < God likes talking with me.
We are created to be worshipers of God. I have had a thing for quotes these last couple weeks so I will leave you with one from Oscar Wilde, a very complicated individual.
"I think that God in creating Man somewhat overestimated his ability."
Oscar Wilde
I feel like I understand what he's saying when it comes to my inadequate ability to worship.
| If God lived on earth, people would break his windows.
Jewish Proverb
How ironic.
"Wisdom doesn't automatically come with old age. Nothing does - except wrinkles. It's true, some wines improve with age. But only if the grapes were good in the first place."
Abigail Van Buren
"A cult is a religion with no political power."
Tom Wolfe
